Making claims:
In the event that a claim needs to be made, you must provide all the relevant information within 28 days of the incident or loss. Claims may only be filed for purchases made with your Visa card.

Certificate Downloads:
Please register using your Visa Card to view your qualifying cover and confirmation of coverage. You can generate a travel insurance certificate for your Visa application or evidence of cover. Simply visit https://cardholderbenefitsonline.com and click on Insurance Benefits. Please provide your card information to verify what benefits are available to you and the terms and conditions that apply.
Your card details will not be stored. Once you have verified your card, you may click on Travel Insurance and thereafter download the Certificate of Insurance. A PDF document will be made available to you on which you can populate details of the travellers. You can save or print the Certificate of Insurance.
Travel Assist
Travel with Visa and ensure that you’re protected. This includes telephonic medical advice, medical service referral, essential medicine and equipment delivery, dispatch of a physician to your location, medical evaluation and repatriation legal referrals and interpreter referrals.

Collision Damage Waiver
Eligible cards:
Available to Visa Signature and Infinite cardholders only, providing essential protection for your rental vehicle.
Redemption method:

Click on 'Insurance Benefits', verify your card details (which won't be stored), then select 'Travel Insurance' to download your Certificate of Insurance.
Fill in the traveler details on the provided PDF document, and save or print it.
Types of cover

Reimburse the cardholder for reasonable costs (meals, accommodation, transport expenses) incurred in the event that travel is delayed at the final departure point.

Payment towards the emergency replacement of clothing, medication and toiletries till the checked in baggage arrives.

Cover for the sudden and unforeseen bodily injury, illness or death during travel.

Payment amount to the benefit amount if the cardholder is detained in the event that the aircraft or sea vessel in which they are travelling as a fare-paying passenger on a journey is hijacked.

The insurance cover will pay up to the total sum insured for if you are liable to reimburse a licensed rental agency for costs arising from material damage to the Rental Vehicle during the period of hire.

Cover for the unrecoverable unused portion of your travel and accommodation costs if you are unable to travel or need to shorten your trip due to unforeseen illness, injury or accidental death.

Cover for the transportation to the nearest hospital during travel.

Cover for incidental expenses whilst hospitalised during travel.

Cover for the accidental loss of, theft of or damage to personal property and money.

Cover if you are imprisoned following a road traffic accident, the cover will advance the bail bond up to the amount shown in the Table of Benefits (this must be paid back within a period of 3 months).

Cover if the cardholder becomes legally liable to pay as compensation for any claim or series of claims arising from any event occurring during a journey.

Cover for legal costs to pursue a civil action for compensation if someone else causes the cardholder’s bodily injury, illness or death during a journey.
