You empathise. If only there was a way for your bank to know, automatically, when you travel.

No more phone calls

Visa has a solution, and it is in your pocket. The same phone that you use to call your bank, to notify them of an upcoming trip, does it automatically. Visa’s Mobile Location Confirmation platform allows cardholders to enrol with their banks to keep them informed of their movements.

When your phone is with you, it will act as another form of identification. In addition to the standard transaction information, your bank will receive the geo-location of your phone and the merchant’s location. Your bank will then use the combination of this information to authorise the transaction.
